i stole the diadem (Canon or Nikon. Which do you prefer and why? I ask because I am soon going to purchase a DSLR and I can’t make my mind up. All I have really had experience with is Nikon. But some people tell me the clarity and button layout and whatnot of the Canon makes it better. What’s your opinion?)

Well, my opinion is totally biased because I’ve never used a Nikon before. So obviously I’m going to tell you to go with Canon ;)

But honestly, I can tell you that I love Canon and wouldn’t switch, ever. They’re very user friendly and have excellent clarity. I’m constantly bragging to anyone who will listen about how great the Canon 60D is. It’s got so many cool features and is the best investment I’ve ever made.

Also, in my experience, a camera is nothing without a great lens. Canon’s 50mm f/1.4 is fantastic and is well worth the price if you’re looking seriously into photography.
